CareFinder Research Team
The CareFinder research team compiles our statistics on UK care homes from the public registers of the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate, and writes the articles that explain them. Every figure states its source, its sample size and the date it was counted.
How our articles are checked
- Every figure, rule and date is checked against an official source (GOV.UK, the NHS, the Care Quality Commission, the Care Inspectorate, the Office of the Public Guardian and similar) before publication.
- Each article links to the official sources it relies on, so you can check them yourself.
- Articles are re-checked at least every six months, and the date of the last check is shown on the page.
