Where a care home appears on CareFinder UK depends on its official regulator rating, what families say about it, whether it has a free bed and how close it is to you. No care home can pay to appear higher. Search is ordered by regulator rating (Outstanding, Good, Requires improvement, Inadequate, not yet rated) and then by Google review score, or by distance once you enter a location. Town and county pages put homes with a free bed first, then order by review score.
